Can Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen win his first-ever MVP with a stellar performance on Sunday? NFL analyst and former quarterback Dan Orlovsky thinks so. Per his official Twitter (also known as X) page, Orlovsky said the Buffalo Bills signal-caller could make a strong case for the MVP if he accounts for four touchdowns in a win. According to multiple sportsbooks, Baltimore Ravens dual-threat quarterback Lamar Jackson remains the favorite to win the award.
If Josh Allen accounts for 4+ touchdowns Sunday and Bills win
He will have 46 touchdowns
4800+ yardsThe race for voters between him and Lamar is gonna be fascinating

The Bills will visit the Miami Dolphins on Sunday Night Football, with the AFC East crown on the table. However, if the Pittsburgh Steelers and Jacksonville Jaguars win their Week 18 matchups, the Bills must also win to avoid being eliminated from the AFC postseason picture.
Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen: Massive Rushing Production in 2023
Allen enters Sunday’s potential must-win game with 3,947 yards passing, 27 touchdowns, and 16 picks. The 16 interceptions are a new career-high, while his touchdown rate is his lowest since 2019. However, the Wyoming product has more than made up for it with his legs, rushing for 457 yards and 15 touchdowns. Only Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert has rushed for more touchdowns.
Allen has the Bills on a four-game winning streak, accounting for nine touchdowns during that span. Allen has scored all but seven of Buffalo’s offensive touchdowns this season. ESPN NFL analyst Dan Orovsky believes a four-touchdown performance and a Bills win on Sunday could close the gap for Allen in the MVP race. With that performance, Allen would finish the season near 50 touchdowns and 5,000 yards.
Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson: Clear Favorite Entering Final Week
The Baltimore Ravens will sit Lamar Jackson for the season finale on Saturday with the top spot in the AFC locked up. He will finish the year with 3,678 yards passing, 24 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. He also ran for 821 yards and five touchdowns. However, despite the lack of massive production, DraftKings has Jackson as -20000 on MVP odds. Dak Prescott (+1800) and Brock Purdy (+3000) also have better odds than Buffalo Bills gunslinger Josh Allen. If Allen performs on Sunday as Dan Olovsky hopes, he will finish the season with 17 more total touchdowns than Jackson. However, Allen’s turnovers would play against him, with him entering Week 18 with more than double the interceptions Jackson threw.
