The NFLPA announced their All-Pro First Team on Wednesday, with three former Oklahoma football players on the offensive side of the ball making the list. The second annual Players’ All-Pro Team is the league’s best players per the players themselves. Dallas Cowboys wideout CeeDee Lamb, San Francisco 49ers left tackle Trent Williams, and Philadelphia Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson are the former Sooners to earn the recognition from their peers.

MVP frontrunner Lamar Jackson and the 49ers backfield of Christian McCaffrey and Kyle Juszczyk join Lamb, Williams, and Johnson on the offensive side of the ball. Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and Eagles center Jason Kelce, among others, are also a part of the 2023 NFLPA All-Pro First Team.
Dallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb: Dominated the NFL this Season
Lamb finished the regular season with a league-best 135 receptions. He placed in the top three in receiving yards (1,749) and touchdowns (12). Lamb set a new Dallas Cowboys franchise record in nearly every statistical category while helping lead the team to a sparkling 12-5 record. Lamb finished the season with at least six receptions in his final six games, including tallying 26 catches for 325 yards and three scores in his final two contests.
Lamb played for Lincoln Riley with the Oklahoma Sooners from 2017 to 2019. He earned All-American honors in his final season, snagging 62 receptions for 1,327 yards and 14 touchdowns while leading the Big 12 in receiving yards per reception and finishing second in punt return yards.
Former Oklahoma Football Stars Trent Williams and Lane Johnson: Continue to Play at Elite Level
San Francisco 49ers LT Trent Williams has long earned the respect of his fellow players. The 11-time Pro-Bowler and two-time All-Pro anchored one of the best offensive lines in football this season, with San Francisco finishing third in points per game. Meanwhile, the same is true about Philadelphia Eagles Lane Johnson. The 33-year-old remains one of the best bookend tackles in the NFL.
Williams played for Bob Stoops at Oklahoma from 2008 to 2009, winning the Big 12 and Sun Bowl during his tenure. The then-Washington Redskins selected Williams with the fourth overall pick in the 2010 NFL draft. Johnson was also the fourth overall pick, getting selected by the Eagles in 2013. He also played under Bob Stoops.
