Ohio State will open Big Ten play this weekend against Michigan State, who is already 1-0 in the conference after getting a huge win against Maryland a few weeks ago.
The Buckeyes will travel to East Lansing for their first road game of the season, which will be shown on Peacock, a streaming service.

Ohio State played Purdue last year on Peacock, and the game will not be shown on local television.
Many fans are angry that they can’t watch the game this weekend unless they subscribe to Peacock. We have seen this all over sports, with the NFL showing playoff games on there.
The Ohio State game this weekend was supposed to start at 7:00 ET, but it will now start at 7:30 ET, moving it back half an hour.
Jerry Emig confirmed the time change and tweeted, “We have a time change: the @OhioStateFB game Saturday at Michigan State will start at 7:30 p.m., not 7 p.m., as was previously announced. It will be streamed on Peacock.”

According to the FanDuel sportsbook, Ohio State is favored by 25 points, so it should be an easy win for the Buckeyes, but Michigan State has some good players. The new quarterback, Aidan Chiles, can make some big-time plays while also turning the ball over, so it will be interesting to see which quarterback shows up.
