After sitting out last Saturday on its bye, Ohio State is back in action this week, hosting another nonpower four school.
The Buckeyes opened their season with two MAC schools, Akron and Westen Michigan, and now they get to welcome in Marshall, which should also be an easy test.
Ohio State is one of few Power Four schools that doesn’t play another Power Four school in the nonconference, and many have crushed the Buckeyes’ easy schedule.
Even though Ohio State has an easy road on Saturday, they still have to play the game. Anything can happen, and the Buckeyes must do it without one of their star players.
Ohio State Is Down One Of Their Star Defensive Players
According to Andy Anders from the Eleven Warriors, defensive tackle Tyleik Williams is out against Marshall. His injury has not been disclosed, but Anders stated Williams was seen favoring his shoulder during Ohio State’s Week Two game against Western Michigan.
Anders also stated that guard Donovan Jackson is back on the offensive line this week after missing the season’s first few games.

Williams is the main piece in the middle of the defensive line, and it will be important for him to return healthy. It’s a good thing that he is sitting out against Marshall.
Ohio State won’t need Williams to beat Marshall, but they will need him to beat schools like Penn State, Oregon, and Michigan, so it will be good not to rush him back and let him rest.
The Buckeyes will take on Oregon on October 12th, so Williams needs to be back on the field by then.
