Ohio State has gotten off to a hot 4-0 start, and even though they only have played one power-four team in Michigan State, they have looked like one of the best teams in the county.
The Buckeyes have one of the best defenses in college football, and the offense is full of stars from quarterback Will Howard, running backs Quinshon Judkins, TreVeyon Henderson, and receivers Emeka Egbuka, Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate.
Ohio State can beat anyone in the country, but one major media network doesn’t think that will happen this season, and they also don’t believe they will even win the Big Ten.
Bleacher Report Isn’t High On Ohio State
David Kenyon from Bleacher Report released his college football bowl and playoff predictions heading into Week Six, and he doesn’t consider the Buckeyes one of the Top Four teams.
The only way you can be a Top Four team is if you win your conference title, and Kenyon has Oregon winning the Big Ten, which will leave the Bukckeyes having to play at home in the first round.
Ohio State is the sixth seed here, hosting 11th-ranked Ole Miss, which just lost to Kentucky this past weekend.
Ohio State will head to play Oregon next week after their game with Iowa, and the contest against the Ducks could decide one of the Big Ten teams that make the conference title game.
There is still a great chance that the game loser will find a way to Indianapolis, but the road will be difficult, and Ohio State still has to go on the road against Penn State, which will not be easy.
If the Buckeyes want to win the Big Ten, they must figure out how to beat Oregon in two weeks to claim a spot in the Big Ten championship game.
