Ohio State Buckeyes Drop To 4 In the AP Poll
With the Buckeyes losing to the Oregon Ducks, Ohio State dropped from two to four in the AP Poll. Oregon jumped to number two and the Texas Longhorns remain the number one team in the country. Some people thought that the Ohio State Buckeyes were maybe going to drop one spot in the poll, but the Penn State Nittany Lions jumped to the number three team in the nation.
Penn State defeated the USC Trojans 33-30 in overtime on Saturday afternoon. Texas, Oregon, and Penn State have yet to lose this season. It will be interesting to see how the Ohio State Buckeyes respond to the Oregon Ducks’ loss.
Fans React
I’d flip Ohio State and Penn State. Losing by 1 point to a top 5 team on the other side of the country shouldn’t be a 2 spot drop IMO.

Shouldn’t move in front of undefeated teams

Oregon deserves the 1 spot ngl… I agree not moving Ohio State too far… Love seeing Iowa state top 10… Boise State should be being considered in that range too.

this is the best looking top 25 so far this year

A single battle does not decide the war.
Buckeyes control their destiny.

The Ohio State Buckeyes will be on a bye this weekend before they face the Nebraska Cornhuskers. In the following week, Ohio State will go on the road and face the Penn State Nittany Lions. The next two games are going to be very critical of the Buckeyes season. If they lose one of those games, there will be more upset Ohio State Buckeyes fans who may want a coaching change from Ryan Day.
