The NFL has been widely competitive this season with only one undefeated team. Some teams have separated themselves more than others. Here are my top five teams so far this NFL season.

    1.) Buffalo Bills (3-1)

The Buffalo Bills are more than just Josh Allen. Obviously, he is the most important player on the team and typically the best player on the field. The addition of Von Miller has made this defensive front a real problem for opposing offenses allowing the fewest yards per game in the league. Even with their secondary beat up the backups have proven more than capable, which shows me this team has the IT factor. The run game does scare me a bit but when you have Josh Allen I trust him to do anything it takes to win.

    2.) Philadelphia Eagles (4-0)

Having the lone undefeated team any lower than this would be disrespectful. Jalen Hurts is putting up MVP type numbers for an offense last season that could only run the ball. With the addition of AJ Brown alongside Devonta Smith, the weapons on this new Eagles offense is dangerous. The defense is no slouch either being the third best defense in terms of yards allowed per game in the league.

    3.) Kansas City Chiefs (3-1)

Patrick Mahomes showcased on Sunday Night Football why, even without Tyreek Hill, that he is the best at his position. Mahomes has been unstoppable this season spreading the ball around to a plethora of receivers. 7th round rookie Isiah Pacheco seems to be the steal of the draft, which is the last thing opposing defenses wanted the Chiefs to get.

    4.) Miami Dolphins (3-1)

The Dolphins lost for the first time last week on Thursday Night Football to the Cincinnati Bengals. How long QB Tua Tagovailoa is out will determine how far this team can go this season but Teddy Bridgewater is a good backup QB with a lot of experience. The dynamic receiving duo of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle remain the most dangerous duo in the league.

    5.) San Francisco 49ers (2-2)

A dominating win over the defending super bowl champions on primetime was a statement for the 49ers. QB Jimmy Garoppolo continues to show his knowledge in this offense and oh yeah, Deebo Samuel is really good at football. Nick Bosa on the other side is one of the dominant forces for a defensive unit that has playmakers everywhere.
