The NFL Hall of Fame is one of the most difficult to get into, especially for owners. But for New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, it should be obvious as the owner has brought 6 championships to the team which is tied with the most of any franchise in the NFL.
Aaron Rodgers’ Biographer Reveals Robert Kraft Has A Petty Side
Ian O’Conner is a 4x best selling author and has written a book on both Aaron Rodgers and Bill Belichick. He took to the Colin Cowherd podcast to share his opinions on Kraft and how soon the legendary owner could be inducted in the NFL’s most honorable group. The conversation took a turn when O’Conner revealed that Kraft has a desperate desire to be liked and is quite upset that he’s not in the NFL already.
“They can be [petty]. I know that Robert Kraft wants to be loved more than anyone I think I’ve ever met. He loves to be loved and he wants to be in the Hall of Fame. And frankly, I really, this really bothers him. I’m not sure how Jerry Jones is in the Hall of Fame ahead of him and Jones hasn’t won anything in decades,”
Kraft has achieved literally all you can as an owner, and should have been inducted to the Hall some time ago so it is interesting that Jerry is in when Kraft has won 6 Super Bowls during a period where Jerry won zero. Either way this revelation is a side of Kraft that the NFL has not seen.
NFL Owner Robert Kraft Deserves The Hall of Fame
While Kraft is apparently quite petty according to O’Connor, both he and Colin agreed that Kraft should have gotten to the Hall of Fame a while ago. According to the best selling author, hiring and managing Bill Belichick for 24 years is something not many owners would be able to do.
Kraft had a certain finesse to be able to make all these moving parts work to create the New England Dynasty. The fact that Kraft still remains out of the Hall begs the question as to why? Is their internal beef amongst the NFL owners, or is Kraft going to get in in the near future? It is hard to know about the inner workings of the owners at all.
While Kraft has been able to enjoy winning on an unprecedented level, he still seems to really care to the degree of pettiness, that he has not been inducted into the Hall of Fame. While the owner is known as one of the best in the league, this side of Kraft is not one that has been explored before. Do you think Kraft deserves the Hall of Fame?
