The New England Patriots are in a new era of football after having the greatest dynasty in NFL history. While new head coach Jerod Mayo and crew are gearing up for the 2024 season, owner Robert Kraft and the team announced their plans for Tom Brady‘s induction into the team’s Hall of Fame. Brady is going to skip a few years to quickly be inducted in, and Kraft wants to have a proper celebration for the leagues greatest player.
New England Patriots Are Going To Celebrate Tom Brady
In less than three month from now Brady will officially be inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame. Last season Robert Kraft announced that he would wave the traditional waiting period to enshrine the greatest ever into the teams Hall of Fame.
Now, all the details for the ceremony plans have been announced. It will be a ticketed event inside Gillette Stadium kicking off at 7 p.m. ET.
“For the first time, the Hall of Fame ceremony will be hosted inside Gillette Stadium to accommodate as many fans as possible,” the official Gillette Stadium website says. “The ceremony will be held the evening of June 12, 2024. Patriots executives chose the 12th day of the sixth month as two of the numbers most often associated with Tom Brady’s Patriots career; his six Super Bowl championships and his iconic uniform number, 12.”
Robert Kraft Wants To Give Fans Opportunity To Thank Tom Brady
Kraft wants to give the fans the opportunity to thank Tom Brady as his split from the team did not allow for that while he was still playing. This will be the time for fans to show their love for the best player ever.
“Patriots fans didn’t get an opportunity to appropriately thank Tom when he left,” Kraft said back in September. “I wanted to give them that opportunity. Unfortunately, a halftime ceremony just doesn’t provide enough time to honor Tommy the way he deserves.”
The night of June 12 will be a legendary one in Patriots and NFL history.
