Terrion Arnold has yet to see a single snap in the NFL. He does’t even know yet which team will take him at the 2024 NFL Draft. But in his mind, he is already a Pro Football Hall of Famer.
“I write it down every day and say I refuse to ever let that happen again. And that’s what’s going to lead me and take me to getting that gold jacket, which is the Hall of Fame. The gold jacket, and I ain’t talking about the one you could buy,” the former Alabama Crimson Tide star said on Thursday at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, per Stephen Holder of ESPN.
NFL Draft Prospect Terrion Arnold Already Sees Football Greatness In The Mirror
Arnold just seems to have a bottomless reservoir of confidence in himself. Others may not like that kind of attitude, but it can’t be denied that belief in oneself is a key component of success in the hardest football league in the land. It’s one thing to be great college football player and it’s a completely different thing to be a solid asset in the pros. The NFL is just a different animal, and that is not lost on Arnold despite his overflowing confidence.
Arnold, who is expected to be taken off the board in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, had five interceptions and 12 passes defended last season with the Crimson Tide. He also had 40 combined tackles and a sack.
Teams looking to get their secondary younger and shore up the talent in that department can have a winner in Arnold, who will have to back up his confidence, beginning in the 2024 NFL campaign.
