Today’s injury report isn’t as lengthy as yesterday’s, but there’s still some important tidbits of information to look out for. There are no confirmed absences yet, but there are plenty of key players that are listed as questionable and did not fully participate in practice. Make sure to pay close attention, especially if you’re betting and in pick ’em pools. As always, click here for future injury reports.
Packers @ 49ers Injury Report
Green Bay Packers
A.J. Dillon: Thumb and neck injuries have the Packers’ No. 2 running back listed as questionable for tonight’s contest. Dillon has missed the last couple of games with the same injuries. In that span, a healthy Aaron Jones has been able to dominate. The 49ers have an elite defense, but their weak spot this year has been in run defense as they have a 68.4 grade in that category. Expect another good game from Jones.
Jaire Alexander: Green Bay’s star corner will again come into a game questionable due to an ankle injury. However, it is the same injured ankle he played on last week against the Cowboys. If somehow he isn’t able to play, expect No. 2 corner Carrington Valentine to struggle against both Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk.
San Francisco 49ers
Dre Greenlaw: An achilles injury has one of the 49ers’ head-hunting linebackers designated questionable for tonight. If backup Dee Winters has to play, look for the defense to be slightly less aggressive and worse at tackling at the second level.
Buccaneers @ Lions Injury Report
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Shaquil Barrett: An ankle injury could force Barrett to miss this Sunday’s game in Detroit. This has been far from Barrett’s most productive season, but he’s still shown elite ability with two games above a 90 pass rush grade. Even if he can’t go, the Buccaneers’ pass rush won’t get too much worse. They have solid pieces all around with Calijah Kancey, Joe Tryon-Shoyinka, Yaya Diaby and others. Regardless, they’ll have a tough time going up against possibly the best offensive line in football.
Detroit Lions
Sam LaPorta: LaPorta is still listed as questionable due to a knee injury he sustained in Week 18, although he did play on it last week. If for some reason he isn’t able to go, expect a larger target share for Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams and Josh Reynolds
