Nebraska Cornhuskers Earlier Offer
An exciting possibility for the faithful of the Nebraska Cornhuskers would be for Dayton Raiola to join from Buford, Georgia. The southpaw is a talented passer, and has high athletic escapability when the pocket collapses. One aspect that is noticeable when watching him play, is that when he has to scramble, his eyes remain downfield, and he still looks to hit open receivers. As a sophomore, he already throws a really nice ball, and completes passes that a lot of quarterbacks would struggle to complete.
He is accurate with his deep passes, and has an ability to throw the ball into tight coverage. He has already been to Nebraska, not only for visits, but to showcase his skill set at the FNL campus camp as well.
For those concerned about the current zero star ratings, it is still early in the recruiting process, especially for the 2026 prospects, but Dayton just like his teammates will certainly see a more elaborate scouting report, as well as a rank update when the current class finishes up. These are all players to look out for, with exciting potential upside for the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
