We’ve looked at the most popular betting underdogs in Week 2 of the college football season, now let’s look at what totals the public is betting.

    Most Popular Betting Totals

    Totals provided by Action Network

    Houston/Texas Tech Over

90 percent of the betting action is on the Over in this contest. However, the total opened at 64.5 and is currently 62. This could suggest that the Under has received some sharp money.

    Baylor/BYU Over

This total has received 89 percent of the bets to the Over. The total opened at 52.5 and is currently 53.5

    Southern Miss/Miami Over

The Over is receiving 86 percent of the betting action. The total opened at 57.5 and is currently 51. Which again may suggest sharp money.

    Ohio/Penn State Over

The Over has received 83 percent of the bets in this game. The total opened at 53.5 and is currently 54.

    UNC/Georgia State Over

After UNC and App State combined for 124 points last week, bettors have decided to bet the UNC total to go over again this week (Last week’s UNC/App State total was 56). But there may once again be sharp money involved on the Under. 81 percent of the bets are on the Over but the total has dropped 4 points from where it opened. The total opened at 68.5 and is currently 64.5

    Betting Totals Getting Big Money

According to Art Dicesare of the Westgate Superbook in Las Vegas, Nevada, there are three totals that are seeing a lot of “money coming in” for them.

    Duke/Northwestern Over

Total opened at 56 and is currently 57.5

    Wake/Vandy Over

Total opened at 61 and is currently 65

    UVA/Illinois Over

Total opened at 56.5 and is currently 57

We’ll track and keep a record of these totals throughout the entire college football season.

Author’s note: Although I discussed possible sharp money in this article, I cannot confirm that any of it is actual sharp money. I don’t offer any free picks, just information to assist sports bettors. We do have some writers on gridironheroics.com that offer free picks, check them out!
