With the NFL season kicking off tonight, let’s take a look at who the public is betting at the sportsbooks for NFL Week One.
According to Arthur Dicesare of the Westgate Superbook in Las Vegas, Nevada, the most popular sides for NFL Week One are the Baltimore Ravens and the Denver Broncos. The Ravens opened as four and a half point favorites and the current line is now Ravens -7. The Broncos opened at -4 and is currently at -6.5.
According to the public betting statistics at The Action Network, the Broncos and the Ravens are the only teams with over eighty percent of the ATS bets. Denver has received 89 percent of the bets, while Baltimore has received 87 percent of the bets.
Over/Under Betting Favorites
As for betting totals, there are two totals that have received over eighty percent of bets. Raiders/Chargers Over and Broncos/Seahawks Over have received eighty-four and eighty-one percent of the betting action respectively. The Raiders/Chargers total opened at 51.5 and currently sits at 52.5. The Broncos/Seahawks opened at 41.5 and currently sits at 44.5.
