Let’s take a look at what totals the public is betting in College Football Week Four. But first, let’s recap the totals favorites from Week 3.

    Week 3 Betting Totals Recap

The public went .500 last week on totals.

    Kansas/Houston Over (Opened 62, Friday Line 58)

Covered both, big time. Combined 78 points.

Ole Miss/Ga Tech Under (Opened 54.5, Friday Line 63)

    Did not cover either.

Texas State/Baylor Over (Opened 54, Friday Line 52.5)

    Did not cover either.

Liberty/Wake Forest Over (Opened 62.5, Friday Line 63.5)

    Covered both lines.

Western Kentucky/Indiana Over (Opened 58.5, Friday Line 61)

Covered both lines, thanks to Overtime.

New Mexico State/Wisconsin Under (Opened 47.5, Friday Line 46)

Did not cover either. Wisconsin scored 66 points by themselves.

Georgia Southern/UAB Over (Opened 56.5, Friday Line 58)

Did not cover either. Barely missed the opening line as the two teams combined for 56 points.

Louisiana Monroe/Alabama Over (Opened 60.5, Friday Line 61.5)

Covered both. The Crimson Tide scored 63 of the 70 total points scored in the game.

Week 3 Totals Favorites Record: Opening Line:4-4, Friday Line 4-4

Week 2 and 3 combined record (we didn’t do Week 1): Opening Line: 5-8, Friday Line 6-7

Now let’s look at Week Four’s Totals

    Week 4 Popular Betting Totals

(Reminder: These are Over/Under bets receiving at least 80 percent of the total bets)

    Vanderbilt/Alabama Over

The Crimson Tide are on the list again. The Over has received 89 percent of the bets for this game, but the total has not moved at all. It opened at 59 and remains there currently.

    Clemson/Wake Forest Over

The public is betting the Over but the total is going the opposite direction. 85 percent of the bets are on the Over but the total has dipped from 56.5 to 55.5.

    New Mexico/LSU Over

The theme for this week’s totals appears to be Reverse Line Moves. 84 percent of the bets are on the Over in this game, yet this total is also going the opposite direction. It opened at 46.5 and is currently at 45.

    Hawaii/New Mexico State Over

Another Reverse Line Move. The Over is receiving 83 percent of the bets but the totaled has moved from an opening of 57.5 to currently 53.5.

    Bowling Green/Mississippi State Over

And another Reverse Line Moves. And this game also has another very big drop in the total. The total opened 57 and is currently 52.5. 82 percent of the bets are on the Over.

It’s going to be a very interesting Saturday for public totals. Let’s see how it plays out.
