Let’s take a look what totals the public is betting for College Football Week 3. We’ve got eight totals with 80 percent or more of the betting action for this week, so we’ll do a quick recap of last week.

Baylor/BYU Over
Opening Line: No. Friday Line: No.
Southern Miss/Miami Over
Opening Line: No. Friday Line: No.
Ohio/Penn State Over
Opening Line: Yes. Friday Line: Yes (By two points).
UNC/Georgia State Over
Opening Line: No. Friday Line: No (Missed by a half point).
Week 2 Public Totals Record: Opening Line: 1-4. Friday Line: 2-3
Now let’s look at who the public is betting this weekend…
Week 3 Popular Betting Totals
Kansas/Houston Over 58
If you look back to last week’s popular totals article, you’ll see that Houston was in the same position they are now: A lot of bets on the over and yet the total is going down. This total opened at 62 and has dropped 4 points. A whooping 92 percent of the bets are on the over.
Ole Miss/Ga Tech Under 63
Contrary to the Kansas/Houston total, we’re seeing the bets pour in on the Under and yet the total has jumped 8.5 points! It opened at 54.5 The Under has received 89 percent of the bets.
Texas State/Baylor Over 52.5
And the trend continues with the public betting one way but the total going the opposite direction. 85 percent of the bets are on the Over, yet the total has dropped a point and a half. It opened at 54.
Liberty/Wake Forest Over 63.5
The total opened at 62.5. 85 percent of the bets are on the Over.
Western Kentucky/Indiana Over 61
We’ve seen this total move from an opening number of 58.5 to currently 61. 84 percent of the bets are on the Over.
New Mexico State/Wisconsin Under 46
With both of these teams struggling offensively last week, 84 percent of the betting action for this game is on the Under. The total opened at 47.5.
Georgia Southern/UAB Over 58
81 percent of the bets are on the Over in the game. The total opened at 56.5
Louisiana Monroe/Alabama Over 61.5
After struggling to put points on the board last week against Texas, bettors are feeling confident that the Crimson Tide will be able to roll offensively this week (sorry for the bad pun). 81 percent of the bets are on the Over in this matchup.
