The New England Patriots re-signed a latecomer to their roster at quarterback in the 2023 season. The Patriots are expected to make changes to the quarterback room in new head coach Jerod Mayo’s first season with the team.
Mac Jones’ time in New England seems up
The Patriots are in a good position to draft a quarterback with the third overall pick in the draft. The team hasn’t decided on Mac Jones’ fate yet, but it’s likely the team will draft a quarterback in the first round and sign a veteran in free agency. The most logical solution for the Patriots is to trade Jones.
There are plenty of rumors about Jones being traded this offseason.
The New England Patriots re-signed Nathan Rourke
With the quarterback room up in the air, the team decided to bring back a familiar face to the locker room. Per Tom Pelissero with the NFL Network, the Patriots are re-signing Nathan Rourke. Rourke joined the Patriots in December.

Does Rourke have a chance to make the team?
It’s unclear if the Patriots brought Rourke back to have another arm available for spring OTAs or if he has a chance to make the roster in the fall. One thing is for certain: there will be plenty of competition at quarterback this year in New England.

I hope they do trad him. I want to root for him so bad as a past Bama QB but I can’t stand the New England Patriots. Good luck Mac!
He must have convinced someone that Belleck was the reason he played like crap.
Nope it’s because it’s all rigged .. after this superbowl and season I’m done with the NFL
