Michigan football fans were heartbroken at the breaking news coming out Wednesday night that Jim Harbaugh had accepted the Los Angeles Chargers head coaching position. Harbaugh took the job a little more than two weeks after Michigan won the national title.

Harbaugh turned around the Michigan program from a team that was the little brother to Ohio State, delivered three Big Ten Championships, two College Football Playoff berths, and won a National Championship.
The Wolverines will have to start their search weeks after most programs finished hiring their head coaches for the 2024 season. The Wolverines need to find a coach quickly with spring football around the corner.
