The Miami Hurricanes have been aggressive on the recruiting trail and in the portal. However, they are not immune to players leaving. Wide receiver Colbie Young announced he is entering the transfer portal.

Miami Hurricanes WR Colbie Young Enters Transfer Portal
Young had a productive season for the Hurricanes in 2023. He caught 47 passes for 563 yards and five touchdowns. The decision to enter the portal doesn’t necessarily come as a surprise. He saw his playing time slowly decrease over the course of the season. He also probably saw the writing on the wall as Miami’s incoming recruiting class features three top 30 wide receivers. Young likely didn’t want to have to compete for the playing time and will try and find a new program.
Momentum In Miami?
Miami has been busy this week. They have flipped a couple of recruits and have a really good 2024 class coming in. It has been years since the Hurricanes have been on top of the college football world and they are eager to get back. In the ACC, Florida State is the biggest threat but if they can sneak past them, they might have a chance at winning the conference. Their fans are hungry for it and college football is better when this program is among the elite.
Can the Miami Hurricanes push for the conference in 2024? They have the talent but now it has to translate into wins.
