Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has the team in a position to make a run at a Super Bowl. While they have lost some games against good teams, the Dolphins are set up to be in the playoffs and have a shot at a championship. A big reason is because of the play of Tagovailoa. In a recent press conference, Tua was asked about whether winning the NFL MVP crossed his mind.
#Dolphins QB Tua asked whether winning NFL MVP is something that crosses his mind.
Tua: "Brother, I just want to help our team win a Super Bowl."
"I think that would be the greatest deal."

Miami Dolphins Tua Tagovailoa On Winning MVP
The quarterback is focused on one thing and one thing only, a Super Bowl. “Brother, I just want to help our team win a Super Bowl,” Tagovailoa said when asked about winning MVP. While individual accolades are awesome, the quarterback wants his team to be successful as well. The argument in his mind likely is that if he can play well enough to get the team to a Super Bow, he will likely be in the MVP conversation. Even without a Super Bowl berth, Tua has been in the conversation thanks to a great statistical year. Having weapons like Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle help but Tua has progressed as a quarterback.
Can They Overtake The AFC’s Best?
It is going to be tough for the Dolphins. They haven’t shown that they can beat teams with winning records. While they have beaten up the bottom feeders of the NFL, when they get into high-profile matchups they cannot come out on top. Still, none of that matters until the playoffs. They can lose to every team that is above .500 in the regular season but if they beat them in the playoffs, that is when it matters. Getting Jalen Ramsey back on defense is a huge help and the offense can hang with anyone.
The Miami Dolphins will only go as far as Tua Tagovailoa can take them. The quarterback has to show that he can make plays in the biggest moments. If he can, this Dolphins team could make some noise in the playoffs.
