On Tuesday, the Seattle Seahawks added a foreign-born Super Bowl champion to their roster. The move came after one of their running backs evidently decided to retire.
With their offseason workout starting Monday, the Seahawks are allowed to have 90 players on their roster. The team announced several significant roster moves before the workout period started.
The Seahawks will use the next few weeks of workouts for new head coach Mike Macdonald to further evaluate the roster before the 2024 NFL Draft. The team added to the offensive line for their workouts this month.
Max Pircher signed with the Seahawks
Per Aaron Wilson with KPRC, the Seahawks signed former Los Angeles Rams and Detroit Lions offensive lineman Max Pircher. Pircher, a native of Bressanone, Italy, won Super Bowl LVI with the Rams.

Bryant Koback retired
The Seahawks added Pircher to their roster as they waived running back Bryant Koback from the reserve-retired list. The Minnesota Vikings initially signed Koback as an undrafted free agent in 2022. He signed with the Seahawks last May but was waived during training camp. Following a brief stint with the Philadelphia Eagles last season, Koback returned to the Seahawks practice squad in October.
Koback signed a reserve/future contract with the Seahawks in January. He has no NFL stats. With the designation on the reserve-retire list, Koback apparently chose to retire from the league at 26.
