Tre’Davious White has battled two significant injuries in two of his last three years in the NFL. White tore his ACL in Week 12 of the 2021 season, causing him to miss the rest of the 2021 season and the first ten games of the 2022 season. He then suffered a season-ending Achilles tear in Week 4 of the 2023 season.
The Buffalo Bills released him because he couldn’t stay healthy as of late, and they needed to free up cap space. The Los Angeles Rams signed him to a 1-year, $8.5 million contract worth up to $10 million in incentives.

The Los Angeles Rams’ free-agent acquisition listed one major factor in signing with the team.
Tre’Davious White signed with the Rams because of the training staff and their recent success in handling Achilles injuries.
“Very transparent, just very authentic, the plan that they have in place,” White said. “I’m a guy that’s very strategic, with my approach of how I would want my rehab to go, being that I’ve had an ACL before and I know how rehab can go. So I was doing my homework. This team has rehab guys that have been very successful with the Achilles.”
The world-renowned surgeon who did his surgery believes he can return to pre-injury form.
Tre’Davious White’s surgeon believes he can return to pre-injury form.
Neal ElAttrache is an orthopedic surgeon and team doctor for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Rams who has operated on famous athletes and celebrities. He believes that White can return to pre-injury form.
“He did promise me that with my hard work and dedication and with a great team that he promised me that I’ll be back doing all the things that I’ve done before,” White said. “So that was all the hope that I needed. And everything else I can take care of as far as the hard work and just the dedication and time I put in.”
The Los Angeles Rams hope they can improve their pass defense.
The Rams hope they can improve their pass defense after allowing the 13th-most passing yards and the 10th-most passing touchdowns last season.
They signed Darious Williams, Kamren Curl, and Tre’Davious White. Their projected starting cornerbacks are Darious Williams and Tre’Davious White on the outside and Quentin Lake in the slot. Their projected starting safeties are Kamren Curl and Russ Yeast.
Will White be ready by Week 1, and where will the Rams pass defense rank next season?
