Kansas City Chiefs news: Despite the fact that Stefon Diggs is still under contract with the Buffalo Bills through 2027, it’s very much possible that he’s already played his last game in a Buffalo uniform. There have been rampant rumors of Diggs potentially leaving Buffalo this summer via trade after another disappointing season.
As it turns out, the newly-crowned back-to-back champions Chiefs are now considered one of the betting favorites to land the services of the All-Pro wide receiver if he ends up parting ways with the Bills.
Buffalo Bills Still Odds-On Favorites to Retain Stefon Diggs
The good news for Buffalo fans (or is it bad news?) is that as of right now, the bookmakers still have the Bills as the odds-on favorite to retain the services of Diggs.
According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the odds of the 30-year-old running it back with the Bills for at least another season are at -300 (h/t Mike Florio of PFT).
This makes a lot of sense. After all, Diggs is still a key member of the squad, and he’s been integral to the success this team has achieved over the past few years.
Diggs and the Bills could put whatever issues they have aside as they attempt to have another run at that elusive Lombardi trophy.
Kansas City Chiefs Get Intriguing Steffon Diggs Odds
If, however, Diggs ends up leaving Buffalo, the odds will be in Kansas City’s favor. DraftKings Sportsbook has the Chiefs at +1000 to acquire the four-time Pro Bowler in the event that the Bills decide to let him go.
The rich only get richer, right?
For his part, Diggs would probably jump at the opportunity to team up with Patrick Mahomes and the rest of the Chiefs, who will be going for a historic three-peat in 2025.
For what it’s worth, the Houston Texans are tied with the Chiefs for the best odds to land Diggs outside of the Bills. The New England Patriots, Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears, and the Baltimore Ravens all have +1200 odds.
