The Kansas City Chiefs have defeated the Baltimore Ravens on the road with a score of 17-10 and will make their 4th Super Bowl appearance in 5 years! The Chiefs won last season’s Super Bowl defeating the Philadelphia Eagles and will have the opportunity to retain their title.
Kansas City Chiefs Defense Hold Ravens to 10 Points of Offense
Lamar Jackson and the Ravens offense were the second highest scoring team in the NFL leading up to Sunday’s AFC Championship, averaging over 32 points per game at home including a 34-points performance in last week’s divisional round. While Jackson was able to throw and run for over 320 all-purpose yards, the Chiefs were able to contain him enough to get stops on third down and force multiple turnovers. Including an interception in the fourth quarter to seal the game.
Travis Kelce Goes for 116-Yard Performance in AFC Title Game
Travis Kelce, who’s had a relatively quiet season compared to years prior reminded fans why he is one of the greatest tight ends of all-time. Kelce put together a productive performance, catching all 11 targets for 116 yards and a touchdown in the first quarter. Kelce now has 23 catches for over 260 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Chiefs 3 playoff games.
Running back Isiah Pacheco also had a big role in Kansas City’s win, running for 82 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown on 28 total touches. Pacheco was listed as questionable for Sunday’s contest with an ankle injury, but played through the pain and was clearly one hundred percent considering the high usage.

After driving down the field early in the fourth quarter, the Ravens were not able to come away with points due to rookie receiver Zay Flowers fumbling on the one-yard line. Flowers caught a 54-yard pass to put Baltimore in that position, but was caught taunting which pushed them back 15 yards after the play.
Despite the costed errors late in the game, Flowers was far and away the best receiver for the Ravens today, catching 5 of his 8 targets for 115 yards and a touchdown. Every other pass catcher for Baltimore was held under 40 yards.
