The Kansas City Chiefs release their injury report Wednesday
The Kansas City Chiefs waited until Wednesday evening to release their Wednesday injury report ahead of the Super Bowl. The injury report was of particular interest, as the Chiefs had three wide receivers and quarterback Patrick Mahomes battling injuries last week in practice.

The Chiefs ruled out Mecole Hardman on Monday. Head coach Andy Reid gave an encouraging update on Mahomes early Wednesday. But the status of wide receivers JuJu Smith-Schuster and Kadarius Toney was unknown until the injury report dropped minutes ago.
According to the statement by the Chiefs, Smith-Schuster was listed as a full participant for Wednesday. Toney was the lone Chief on the report who was limited in practice.
Chiefs limited participants
- WR Kadarius Toney, ankle/hamstring
Chiefs full participants
- LB Willie Gay, shoulder
- QB Patrick Mahomes, ankle
- RB Jerick McKinnon, ankles
- RB Isiah Pacheco, wrist
- OG Trey Smith, ankle
- WR JuJu Smith-Schuster, knee
The Chiefs appear to have mostly good news on their injury report. The Eagles released their report earlier Wednesday afternoon. They had great news on the injury front for their lineman positions.
