The Kansas City Chiefs are going to miss a few key players for this huge AFC Championship with the Baltimore Ravens, but now it seems that running back Isiah Pacheco will not be one of those players.
Kansas City Chiefs’ Isiah Pacheco Is Back At Practice
The weather forecast for the AFC Championship game is predicted to have some rain in Baltimore, that means that each may need to be focused on running the ball which definitely favors the Ravens as the number one rushing team in the league.
The Chiefs have relied heavily on their second year back Isiah Pacheco all season and last post season, and his status was up in the air all weak as he suffered a toe injury. Earlier in the week it seemed like it was 50-50 on whether or not Pacheco would be able to go, but now it is looking like he is going to play.
The Chiefs got great news on Friday seeing Pacheco on the practice field with the rest of the starters after missing practice a few times this week. The Chiefs will need a huge game from Pacheco this week in the rain, as they will rely heavily on him if the pass game is not clicking.
Isiah Pacheco Plays His Best In The Playoffs
Patrick Mahomes has been having a bit of a down year this season by his standards, and although their offense has looked good in the two playoff games so far, they are now going to face one of the best defenses in the league and go into their house to try and win.
They will need Pacheco to play well if they want to have a chance in beating the Ravens, and thankfully for them Pacheco plays his best ball in the playoffs. He has over 75 scrimmage yards in every postseason game he has played in and has two rushing touchdowns so far in this years playoffs. He will look to add to that in this game in both of those totals.
Travis Kelce has also been playing his best ball as of late and if they can get their best offensive weapons to ball out they may find themselves in the Super Bowl yet again. They have the opportunity to win back to back Championships, something that hasn’t been done since the New England Patriots did it back in the early 2000s. Either way they will need Pacheco and his angry runs this week if they want to beat the best team in the NFL.
