Miami Dolphins officials have been working with detectives since the teams were stolen.
Detectives tracked down surveillance footage of a dark grey vehicle, which has been identified as the suspect’s car, a Ford-F150.
Police officers located the car and noticed that it had equipment boxes that matched those that were stolen from the Dolphins’ box truck. The driver reportedly sped away when the police drove over to the vehicle.
The incident in question isn’t Brown’s only run-in with the law in regard to stealing, as he was reportedly convicted of stealing back in 2021 as well.
Brown’s bond has reportedly been set at $50,000 in cash.
The Dolphins are fresh off a very successful 2023 regular season, as the team ended up with an 11-6 record, which was tied with the Buffalo Bills for the top record of any squad in the AFC East division. The Bills won the division, though.
The Miami Dolphins wound up losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs in January by 19 points, but this could ignite a new rivalry between the two AFC squads.
Did Kansas City Chiefs Super Fan “Chiefsaholic” Inspire This New Robbery Aimed At The Miami Dolphins?

Back In February, Xavier Babudar, known for wearing a grey wolf suit at Chiefs games at home and on the road, pleaded guilty to money laundering, transporting stolen property across state lines and bank robbery, with a sentencing hearing coming in July.
Chiefsaholic became a bit of a myth and legend to some as it took a while for the Kansas City Chiefs mega fan to be apprehended.
The defendant tried to conceal hundreds of thousands of dollars in stolen cash by using it to gamble online and at casinos, but the odds caught up with him,” Moore said in a release. “With today’s conviction, he will be held accountable for the full scope of his criminal conduct, including his attempt to flee from justice.”

As a part of the plea deal the Cheifaholic’s lawyer was able to get, Babudar will need to pay $532,675 in restitution to the victim’s financial institutions and also forfeit an autographed painting of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes
