Kadarius Toney is having none of the Patrick Mahomes disrespect. Bengals star receiver made some waves yesterday in an interview when he was asked whether Mahomes was the best quarterback in the league. His response of “Pat who?” was a direct shot at the Super Bowl winning quarterback. Toney had a snappy retort for Chase.

Toney took to Twitter and had a very clever comeback. “I know who,” which was preceded by two “laughing” emojis and followed up with an “ice cold” emoji was posted on Toney’s Twitter account. The discourse all started when Joe Burrow was asked about who the best quarterback in the league was and responded with Mahomes. That has spawned a verbal joust amongst the number one receivers on each team.

    Rivalries Are Awesome

As an NFL fan, this is awesome. Rivalries are what make sports great. We have the beginnings of a rivalry where the two teams really do not like each other. It also is not a one-sided rivalry that happens often. The Bengals have had the Chiefs’ number. While the Chiefs were able to get by them last year, the previous year saw the Bengals go to the Super Bowl after beating the Chiefs. It would not be shocking if both of these teams are facing off in the playoffs for the next decade due to the talent at quarterback.

Will Ja’Marr Chase respond? Will others come to the defense of Mahomes like Kadarius Toney? This is all meaningless jabbing at one another but man is it fun to watch as a fan.
