The NFL players have spoken, and apparently, the Buffalo Bills superstar quarterback Josh Allen is the most overrated according to the players. While the huge majority of analysts would say that Allen is at least a top 5 quarterback, the players have ranked him as the most overrated at that position.
Allen, however, responded in brilliant fashion as he knows he is one of the best in the league.
Josh Allen Knows He Is One Of The Best

Both Tom Brady and Peyton Manning recently came out with their top five quarterbacks in the league, and of course, they both had Allen on that list. His peers, however, do not think as highly of him.
As reported on Gridiron Heroics:
“Allen led all of the quarterbacks with 11 votes as the most overrated beating out both the likes of Tua Tagovailoa, Trevor Lawrence, and Jalen Hurts. It is quite shocking that out of the anonomous ESPN polling of 103 players in the league, Allen would take this top spot.
Allen first quickly took to social media to comment on another aspect of the polling done by ESPN when addressing that he was also voted as the best trash talker:
“So you’re telling me, I was voted as the #1 … best trash talker??? Let’s goooooo!!!”
.Now, Allen was forced to give l longer response to this poll in his recent radio appearance. His answer highlights that he is not a veteran in the league, and he knows how good he is.
“So my reaction is I’m not mad that 11 players not on my team don’t like me, right?,” he said on SirusXM’s Mad Dog Radio, while speaking to Adam Schein.
“So that’s number one. I actually think that’s a term of endearment. When other players don’t like me that means I’m doing something the right way.”
The second quote from Allen is the one to highlight, as a young player may take this as a blow from the players. Allen knows that this is actually a major compliment, when the players in the league don’t like you, you must be doing something great!
"I'm just going to keep playing football the way I know how to play it." #Bills superstar @JoshAllenQB reacts w/ @AdamSchein to the ESPN anonymous players survey where he was ranked as the most overrated QB.

Buffalo Bills Superstar Does Not Need Any More Motivation

In the radio podcast, Allen was further asked if he would use something like this as motivation, and he continued his brilliant responses by saying of course not.
It’s safe to assume that Patrick Mahomes’ existence is more than enough motivation for Josh Allen right now. Allen has yet to get through Mahomes in the postseason, and that is probably the sole motivation for Allen and the Bills right now.
“The fact is…I’m going into year seven, I’m coming out of a small farm town called Fireball, California, I had no offers, went the junior college route, ended up having one offer, University of Wyoming, got drafted seventh overall by the Buffalo Bills,” Allen began.
“So, again, I’m in a spot where not many people — maybe me and my family are the only people that thought that I’d ever be here — so I’m gonna keep running with that, it serves me well, and I’m just gonna keep playing football the way I know how to play it.”
Allen has now been in the league quite a while, and he has grown not only as a player but more importantly as a man. This is a great sign for Bills fans heading into this year. Allen will need to take it to another level if they want to get to a Super Bowl let alone winning one.
