The NFL’s two greatest quarterbacks that are out of the league now have each given their rankings of the top five quarterbacks entering this year, and they are almost identical.

Both Peyton Manning and Tom Brady have now ranked the quarterbacks entering this year and their lists are almost identical. This has now made many fans rethink their top lists as it is impossible to argue with both Manning and Brady when it comes to quarterbacks.

As Brady is making a great start to his new broadcasting career, he is not in the business of sharing his football opinions and analyses. And we are all here for that. The legend and seven-time Super Bowl champion was asked by Stephen A. Smith to rank his top quarterbacks entering this year.

In a since, viral video, Smith starts by putting Patrick Mahomes at the number one spot, which Brady quickly agreed to. Then he asked the NFL legend to name Nos. 2-5 after Mahomes.

Brady immediately responded by naming; Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, and Lamar Jackson as the three that impressed him. He then paused for a moment and Smith chimed in and said Aaron Rodgers should finish the list:

“I think I’ll leave it at those,” Brady said, prompting Smith to throw Aaron Rodgers in as No. 5.

“Oh, absolutely,” Brady said, indicating he had no issue with Rodgers being No. 5.

You have to be quite an arrogant individual to argue with Brady’s top four, and interestingly enough Peyton Manning had the same top four. Peyton included Justin Herbert in his top 5 list, while Brady accepted Rodgers as the fifth.

According to both Peyton and Brady, after Mahomes at 1, Allen, Lamar, and Burrow are the next best group.

NFL Fans React To Tom Brady and Peyton Manning Rankings

Fans are very emotional about their opinions and rankings, but when the two greatest give their lists it is impossible to argue. Here are some of the best fan reactions to Peyton and Brady’s rankings:

“I may not like Brady, but he knows ball,” a Bills fan wrote.

“This is now 2 legends of the game in [Peyton] Mannning and Brady saying Josh Allen is a top 5 QB. Don’t get it twisted NFL Twitter,” another Bills fan said.

“He didn’t want to say Aaron Rodgers,” a fan speculated.

“The best quarterback to ever play the position didn’t have Brock Purdy in his top 5?!? The fans going ‘Brock Purdy, Brock Purdy’ makes it 10x funnier,” a fan declared.

“Football god has spoken,” a fan wrote. “If you disagree argue with a wall”

“Aka the NFC is absolute trash,” a fan said of Manning naming five AFC quarterbacks.

“Can’t argue with The Sheriff,” a fan declared.

“Justin Hebert has bamboozled the entire NFL and I would like to know how and why,” another fan argued.

“Herb got the Peyton Manning stamp,” a fan stated. “Wow.”
