Cincinnati Bengals fans reacted to Joe Burrow’s short but troubling answer about his availability against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3. Burrow re-aggregated his calf injury during the Bengals Week 2 loss against the Baltimore Ravens.
Burrow said after the game the injury would be at least a season-long concern. It was unclear after the game if Burrow would be able to play the Rams. Due to the Bengals/Rams matchup being on Monday Night Football, the football world had to wait for the first injury report of the week to be released on Thursday.
Burrow was asked about his availability for the game and his injury progress. According to Tom Pelissero with the NFL Network, Burrow gave a two-word response to if he could play the Rams: “We’ll see.”
Burrow did say he’s feeling better. But his answer doesn’t seem optimistic in light of the Bengals injury report Thursday. He did not practice.
#Bengals QB Joe Burrow on his calf: "Just feeling better. Not as sore. Time heals. So we'll see."
Will he play Monday night vs. the #Rams? "We'll see."

Cincinnati Bengals fans react to Joe Burrow’s comments
Bengals fans reacted to Burrow’s comments on social media. Here are the best takes on Burrow’s troubling update.
He'll either play….or be told not to play. I can't see JB deciding not to play….only being told he won't

Burrow said this about week 1 as well as I do recall. Limited practice is just taking it easy and not letting the calf get too tight.

Even if he does go, he's not 100%. Hasn't looked it in the first two weeks. Limited mobility and not planting/throwing as confidently as we're used to seeing.

Time hasn’t healed. He missed camp/pre season and it’s still not healed. For his own health, and the future of the franchise, put him on IR. Two possible benefits to that, hopefully a healthy Burrow and maybe a chance to get Marvin Harrison.

He'll play. Can't start 0-3.
