New York Jets coach Robert Salah was asked about the status of one of his key receivers on Sunday. The status of the receiver in question was up in the air, but coach Saleh stated that “he feels good about him” playing this weekend, according to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport.
Garrett Wilson has not been able to participate 100% this week due to an elbow injury, but it seems that he’s trending towards playing on Sunday versus the Bills in Buffalo.
#Jets WR Garrett Wilson, who has been limited all week with an elbow injury, is questionable for Sunday, with Robert Saleh saying he feels good about him (and many of the other questionables) playing.

Great news for the Jets
Garrett Wilson is one of New York’s most important players, as last year’s Offensive Rookie of the Year leads the Jets in receptions (55), targets (95), and receiving yards (642). Last year he amassed 1,103 receiving yards, and this year he’s on pace to break 1,000 yet again.
Wilson has been outstanding over the past few weeks after a slow start, tallying at least seven catches, including nine last week, in each of his previous four games.
The Jets expected to have future hall-of-famer Aaron Rodgers under center this year, but after getting injured four snaps into the season against Buffalo, former #2 pick Zach Wilson has been the Jets’ QB all season.
Rematch in Buffalo
To open the season, the Jets and Bills battled at MetLife Stadium in Aaron Rodgers’ much anticipated debut, that was ultimately cut very short. The Jets trailed their division rivals 13-3 at halftime in Week 1, but stormed back thanks to an impressive Garrett Wilson TD and a punt-return TD from Xavier Gipson in overtime to seal the win.
The Bills will be out for revenge, but New York having Wilson will be a huge boost on Sunday in enemy territory.
