On Sunday, the Dolphins defeated the Raiders 20-13, but they were dealt a big blow early on. Running back De’Von Achane left the game with a knee injury and didn’t return. Achane has been excellent for Miami, but he was only able to record one carry before leaving the field. This was the same knee that kept the Texas A&M product sidelined for four games. Texans linebacker Denzel Perryman has been suspended for “repeated violations of playing rules intended to protect health and safety of players.” The official report states that this was Perryman’s seventh career violation, with his previous violation prior to Sunday coming in Week 2. This past Sunday versus the Cincinnati Bengals, Perryman lowered his head and “delivered a forceable blow to the shoulder and then the head/neck area of the receiver”, according to the NFL.
