According to DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN, Houston re-signed Ka’imi Fairbairn to a 3-year, $15.9 million contract extension, with an AAV value of $5.3 million, and making him the fourth-highest paid kicker in terms of AAV.

Fairbairn signed a 4-year, $17.65 million contract extension on March 10, 2020.
Fairbairn appeared in 16 games in 2020 and went 37/40 on extra points, 8/8 from 20-29, 9/9 from 30-39, 6/8 from 40-49, 4/6 from 50+, and 27/31 overall. Fairbairn ranked 13th in field goals made and 14th in field goal percentage.
Fairbairn appeared in 13 games in 2021, missing three with a muscle pull in his leg and one with COVID. Fairbairn went 13/16 on extra points, 4/4 from 20-29, 5/5 from 30-39, 2/4 from 40-49, 4/6 from 50+, and 15/19 overall. He ranked 30th in field goals made and 27th in field goal percentage.
Fairbairn appeared in 17 games in 2022 and went 24/24 on extra points, 7/7 from 20-29, 7/8 from 30-39, 9/10 from 40-49, 6/6 from 50+, and 29/31 overall. Fairbairn ranked 13th in field goals made and 3rd in field goal percentage.
Fairbairn appeared in 12 games in 2023, missing five games with a quad injury. Fairbairn went 21/22 on extra points, 10/10 from 20-29, 10/10 from 30-39, 2/2 from 40-49, 5/6 from 50+, and 27/28 overall. He ranked 20th in field goals made and 2nd in field goal percentage.

He didn’t appear in every game. Don’t you remember the games they didn’t have a kicker!

In my article I said he appeared every game in 2020 which is a fact, 13 games in 2021 which is a fact, every game in 2022 which is a fact, 12 games in 2023 which is a fact.
