The Green Bay Packers lost their first game of the 2024 NFL season 34-29 in what was an explosive 34-29 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles in Sao Paolo, Brazil. Unfortunately, the biggest topics after the game had little to do with how the players actually played, but instead with the field conditions and officiating.
But of course, the most important topic is the health of Packers quarterback Jordan Love, who was removed from the game with just a few seconds left in the fourth quarter following what fans are describing as a “nasty” lower leg injury.
Green Bay Packers Insider Matt Schneidman Says Jordan Love Left the Locker Room with No Help
After the game, Packers inside Matt Schneidman, who covers the team for The Athletic, shared the following update:
UPDATE ON JORDAN LOVE VIA @mattschneidman
“I saw him leaving the locker room under his own power.”
“It didn’t seem like he had too noticeable of a limp.” pic.twitter.com/2xyu4ckiJW

“It was a left leg injury, we know that for sure from watching the replay. Don’t know whether it’s ankle or knee, we saw his left leg get twisted and get stuck under Jalen Carter on the second to last play of the game.
“Matt LaFleur said, ‘I don’t know,’ those exact three words to a question about what do you know about Jordan’s injury and what happened to Jordan.
“All I can tell you is that I saw Jordan leaving the locker room after the game under his own power… It didn’t seem like he had too noticeable of a limp, only slightly favoring the right leg.”
As seen by Schneideman’s report, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur does not know what the injury is exactly, and therefore does not know if Love will miss any time.
Multiple reporters, though, including Schneidman said they have never seen LaFleur this hot (meaning angry) after a game.
