Green Bay Packers Cornerback Is Jaire Alexander Officially Out
Jaire Alexander will miss his eighth game of the season for Green Bay. He’s been battling various injuries all week but was questionable for this game all week. The Packers finally made a decision on Sunday, so he won’t suit up in New York.
A first-round pick in 2018, Alexander has spent his entire career with the Packers. He has 10 career interceptions, including five in last season’s All-Pro campaign. 2023 has not been the encore that most people anticipated.
The Green Bay Packers are Hunting for a Playoff Spot
On a three-game winning streak that includes the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs, the Green Bay Packers began Week 14 in the NFC’s final playoff spot. They were tied with three teams at 6-6 and one game ahead of two others. With a soft schedule coming up, the Packers have everything in front of them.
First up is Tommy DeVito and the 4-8 New York Giants. The Buccaneers and Panthers will follow Monday night’s game. This week will be without Jaire Alexander healthy, but the team is hoping he’ll be back for the final stretch. Until then, Green Bay has a winning streak to extend on a national stage.
