The Florida State Seminoles entering the 2024 college football season had such promise after having a 13-1 record in 2023. A lot of things changed in 2024 with the Seminoles and Florida State finished with a 2-10 overall record and a 1-7 record in ACC conference play.

There were times last season when the Florida State Seminoles fanbase called for head coach Mike Norvell to be fired. It was devasting to see the Seminoles fall flat last season after playing well the season before. Florida State has to be better in 2025 than they were last year.

6-6 seems like the ceiling but 4-8 or 5-7 is very possible

If the Seminoles don’t get off to a good start this season, there is a chance that they could fire Mike Norvell as head coach at some point. Florida State wants to see a massive improvement this season and then it will be interesting to see where it goes from there.
