CB Jalen Kimber: Leaving for Third School
Kimber, a four-star recruit and the seventh-ranked cornerback in the class of 2020 per 247Sports will leave the Florida Gators football program after two seasons. Kimber came to Gainesville in 2022, playing 13 games during his inaugural season with the Gators. The six-foot, 170-pound defensive back had 13 tackles, one interception, a touchdown, and a pass defended in 13 games. His lone interception was a pick-six off South Florida Bulls quarterback Gerry Bohanon.

Florida Gators: Experiencing Heavy Turnover Via the Transfer Portal
Head coach Billy Napier and the Gators have struggled to retain talent with the conclusion of the regular season. The most significant losses are Etienne and Umanmielen. Etienne posted 1,710 scrimmage yards and 15 touchdowns across two seasons, while Umanmielen tallied 11.5 TFLs last season.
