It’s great to be a Tennessee Vol! Tennessee’s five-star quarterback commit Nico Iamaleava’s NIL valuation has surpassed $1million. He is the 15th NCAA athlete to exceed a $1million NIL valuation.
Who is Nico Iamaleava?
Nico Iamaleava is from Downey, CA, and is the No.3 quarterback and No.4 overall player in the nation. After receiving several scholarship offers, the five-star recruit committed to play football for the University of Tennessee. Since committing to Tennessee in March of 2022, he has officially become Tennessee’s Million Dollar Man. Per On3 Sports, Iamaleava’s MVP performance in the OT 7on7 League helped him pass the million dollar mark.
Following the 7on7 MVP performance, Iamaleava’s Instagram follower count spiked. From there, his NIL value exploded and has increased 177% in the past 14 weeks. Now, Iamaleava has over 170,000 followers on social media. For the first time since 2015, Tennessee’s recruiting class is in the top 10. If his 2022 visit to Knoxville hadn’t already confirmed it, “Nico Mania” has taken hold in Neyland and beyond.
