New HOT Additions for the Jets
Lately this off-season the New York Jets made it a point to grab a handful of play makers to help boost their offense. Zach Wilson struggled significantly and with these new play makers, the Jets offense will look to improve from last year’s outing.
A Gamechanger in Breece Hall
The 2nd round pick out of Iowa State will most certainly be playing a major role in struggling Jets offense that finished 28th in total points and 26th in total offensive yards during the 2021 season. Hall gives the Jets a true 3 down back if utilized that way. He will also be a factor in the passing game alongside fellow RB Michael Carter who can be serviceable as well.
A Beefed-up Receiving Core
The passing game of the Jets will be led by both 2nd year receiver Elijah Moore, rookie Garrett Wilson, and veteran Corey Davis. The receiving core will also be bolstered by newly acquired TE C.J. Uzomah who was very serviceable for the Cincinnati Bengals last year.
Wilson’s Path to Great 2022 Fantasy Season
Zach Wilson has all of the tools to be great in this year’s upcoming season. The new additions and talent that now surround should give him confidence heading into his 2nd year. Last year was a rookie fluke in my opinion. I really think that the 2021 2nd overall Pick and pull himself together and can take a major step up in 2022. In all fantasy formats he is currently the QB 24. In most fantasy drafts you can find Wilson in between the 14th and 15th rounds. For what you pay in terms of draft capital I love taking Wilson around those two rounds.
