It is about that time in the week where you need to lock in who is going to be in your fantasy football lineups going into this weekend’s slate of games in the NFL. Whether you are trying to end a losing skid or making a push for a playoff spot, it is important to put in the players that will get you the maximum number of points. Here are the players you should start heading into week 11:

    Quarterback Justin Fields, Chicago Bears

Justin Fields made the cut for the starts of the week in week 10 and we are going to continue to ride his hot streak. Fields had yet another good fantasy outing even in the Bears one-point loss to the Lions. The second-year quarterback posted a 39.4 fantasy point showing against Detroit.

Fields threw for 167 yards and two touchdowns. He would also add two touchdowns on the ground, while rushing for 147 yards. Not only does Fields give fantasy owners production through the air, but he is able to provide value on the ground with his legs. In back-to-back weeks, the former Ohio State product will face off against a favorable defense.

This week the Bears will take on the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons defense currently rank fourth in fantasy points per game allowed to the quarterback position (21.2) per game in the last several weeks. Atlanta has been suspect against the run, so that can open up an opportunity for Fields to have a big game in the running game.

Cordarrelle Patterson and the Atlanta Falcons offense faced an uphill battle against the Carolina Panthers as they got opened on Thursday night. Patterson was coming off of the injured reserve list and didn’t have a great outing against the Panthers.

The veteran running back only accounted 16 rushing yards on five carries and one reception for two yards. Patterson is coming off a game where he didn’t see any fantasy production, but the matchup this week is very favorable. This week the Falcons will face off against the Bears. Chicago’s defense have allowed 25.9 fantasy points per game to running backs.

The Bears have been inconsistent in defending the run and that should open the door for Patterson to have a bounce-back fantasy outing in week 11.

Wide Receiver Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals:

Tee Higgins and the Cincinnati Bengals spent week 10 on the bye week. They were able to use this time off to rest up for the second half of the season. Ja’Marr Chase isn’t expected to suit up this weekend against the Pittsburgh Steelers, so that opens up Higgins to assert himself as the WR1.

The last time the Bengals saw the field was in their 32-13 Monday night loss to the Cleveland Browns. In the loss, Higgins had the lone touchdown for Cincinnati. He was able to haul in three receptions for 49 yards. This weekend, Higgins will match up against the Steelers defense that has allowed the second-most fantasy points against wide receivers.

Higgins will be able to exploit a Steelers secondary that has had their issues defending the pass, especially for wideouts on the perimeter.

Tight End Dalton Schultz, Dallas Cowboys:

The 2022 season hasn’t gone the way that Dalton Schultz has been planned as he hasn’t lived up to the billing of a 2021 breakout season in fantasy. Schultz did have his best fantasy outing in week 10 where he put up 17.4 fantasy points. The Cowboys have shuffled quarterbacks, but when Dak Prescott is on the field, Schultz has been his go-to target outside of CeeDee Lamb.

Schultz was able to haul in six receptions for 54 yards and a touchdown in the Cowboys 31-28 loss against the Green Bay Packers in overtime. This weekend the Cowboys will travel to Minnesota to take on the Vikings. The Vikings defense have been suspect of trying to defend against the tight end position. They currently rank just outside the top 10 in fantasy points allowed to the tight end.

Both offenses should explode and this matchup has the making to be a high-scoring shootout. Schultz should have the opportunity to find the endzone again against Minnesota this week.
