The Miami Dolphins are looking like a serious contender in the AFC right now and a lot of that has to do with the pure dominance that has been shown from superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill. He has been the best wide receiver in the league this season and has shown no signs of slowing down. In fact, Hill has been producing at a rate that could place him in the NFL record books.
Very few wide receivers have the kind of speed, hands, and route-running ability that Hill possesses. He can make plays down the field, in the intermediate game, and in short screen plays. There is absolutely nothing that he can’t do.
With just five games remaining for the Dolphins, Hill has come so close to breaking a massive NFL record.
Tyreek Hill Is Close To Breaking A Huge NFL Record With Five Weeks Left
As shared by NFL analyst Ari Meirov on X, Hill is just 519 receiving yards away from becoming the first wide receiver in NFL history to reach 2,000 receiving yards.
#Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill needs 519 receiving yards in the final 5 games to become the first WR in NFL history to reach 2,000 yards in a season.

On the season in 12 games with the Dolphins, Tyreek Hill has racked up 93 receptions for 1,481 yards and 12 touchdowns. Each and every week he has been an absolute monster. Even when opposing defenses are double covering him, he has found ways to shred them up.
Heading into Week 14, the Dolphins are 9-3 and are in first place in the AFC East. If the season ended today, they will hold the No. 1 seed in the AFC. That could change over the course of the next five weeks, but the Dolphins are a legitimate Super Bowl contender.
As long as they have their offensive firing on all cylinders with Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, and Jaylen Waddle, they are going to be a tough team to beat.
It will be interesting to see if Hill can accomplish his huge goal of 2,000 receiving yards. He stated that he was gunning for that record before the season started. After talking the talk, he has clearly walked the walk with his production.
