Tennessee Titans star running back Derrick Henry has been one of the greatest and most dominant running backs in recent memory. He has been with the Titans for his entire career and has been the best player on the team. He has been heavily involved in free agency rumors as he will become one during the offseason. He took some time today after the team’s win, eliminating the Jacksonville Jaguars, to say goodbye to Tennessee fans as he will most likely be with a different team next season.

Tennessee Titans Fans Thank Star Running Back
Henry thanked Titans fans “for the greatest of my life,” as he will be a free agent this offseason. From the sound of it, both Henry and the Titans organization will be moving their separate ways, making the star running back the most intriguing free-agent option for running back-needy teams. Fans in Tennessee are devastated that the running back will likely be gone, and they were all over Twitter thanking him for his time with the team.
Derrick Henry's speech after the game basically makes it official that he won't be a Titan next season.
Thank you King Henry. It was an honor and privilege seeing one of the greatest RBs in NFL history go to work each and every Sunday. An even better person off the field #Titans pic.twitter.com/SuxI2ohz3F

If this is the end, what a hell of a run it was. I could honestly write paragraphs on what Derrick Henry means to me and every #Titans fan out there.
For now, I’ll just summarize it with a few words:
Thank you, 22 👑🐐 pic.twitter.com/5EPFBIDkhI

Derrick Henry Career
Henry has amounted to a staggering 9,502 rushing yards and 90 touchdowns after just eight years in the league. This season, he went for 1,167 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns, which is amongst the top for running backs throughout the NFL in 2023. He has had several memorable moments as a Titan, especially against the Jaguars, so it seems fitting that he ends his time with Tennessee beating Jacksonville. While Tennessee will finish the season with a 6-11 record, the team is looking forward to rebuilding for the future. Along with Henry, quarterback Ryan Tannehill and head coach Mike Vrabel could be on the move during the offseason, which could shake up the NFL world. What team do you think Henry will be on in 2024, and how many years does he have left in the tank?
