Denver Broncos Safety Kareem Jackson: Ejected in Week 7
Jackson got hit with a lengthy suspension after being ejected for unnecessary roughness in his team’s 19-17 win over the Green Bay Packers. The 35-year-old launched himself at Packer’s tight end, Luke Musgrave, as the latter tried to make a catch near the sideline.
Jackson made helmet-to-helmet contact with a defenseless Musgrave, ensuring the safety of receiving the early boot. Sunday marked Jackson’s second ejection of the season.
Kareem Jackson: Multi-Time Offender in 2023
Unfortunately, Jackson has become a repeat offender against the league’s safety rules. The Alabama product got hit with a hefty $43,709 fine for unnecessary roughness in Week 6.
He also received three separate fines throughout the season’s first three games, totaling $45,961. Despite the reduction in games suspended, Jackson could and most likely will get served another fine for his hit on Musgrave in Week 7.
