The Denver Broncos have had a nightmare start to their 2023 season. Just a few short months after signing proven head coach Sean Payton, the team is already in danger of calling their 2023 season a failure. There have already been reports that the Broncos are open to listen to trade offers for multiple star players.
Today it was reported that the Broncos have released one wide receiver who has started four of their five games so far in 2023.

In a report from NFL insider Tom Pelissero, the Denver Broncos released receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey.
Humphrey, a fifth-year player, has played in all five games this season for the Broncos includingstartingfour of them. The Denver Broncos’ Week 1 matchup against Las Vegas saw him grab four passes for 26 yards and score a touchdown.
After Week 1, the Texas product was elevated to the 53-man roster from the practice squad.

The 25-year-old wide receiver has spent time with the New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints, and Denver Broncos during his career.
The move is a bit surprising given the reports indicating the Broncos are open to trade offers for Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton.
It will be interesting to see if Humphrey finds a new home before the end of the 2023 season.
