Deion Sanders promised that he would completely remake the offensive line. He is keeping that promise to the fanbase. After landing five new offensive linemen last week via the portal and the recruiting trail, Sanders pulled another one today. Former Indiana OL Matthew Bedford announced his commitment to the Colorado Buffaloes.

Deion Sanders Lands OL Matthew Bedford
Bedford is the second former Hoosier to commit to Colorado. Khalil Benson committed last week and Bedford followed suit. One of the great skills of Bedford is that he can play a lot of positions. Outside of center, he has played every position on the offensive line. According to PFF, he was the sixth-highest-graded offensive lineman in the Big Ten in 2023. It is yet another piece to protect talented quarterback Shedeur Sanders.
Proving Doubters Wrong
People said it couldn’t be done. Many analysts and anonymous coaches doubted that Sanders would be able to get a new offensive line in the offseason. Sanders has done it in a week. It shows the recruiting prowess of Sanders and the draw that he is for players. Now the challenge will be to get the players to perform as a unit on the field. Moving to the Big 12 conference will be a change for the Colorado program and they will need to play much better if they are going to compete in the conference.
It is another huge win for Deion Sanders. If he can keep this up, Colorado is going to have plenty of talent to compete in 2024.
