Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders has been on fire in the transfer portal this offseason. He is fielding a top-five class and has been remaking the roster on both sides of the ball. Sanders got another commitment today when former New Mexico state outside linebacker Nikhil Webb-Walker announced he was committing to the program.
Former New Mexico State OLB Nikhil Webb-Walker has committed to Colorado.
He played in 12 games for the Aggies last year and had 23 total tackles, 5 TFLs, 2.5 sacks and 1 FF.
He is from Jamaica and is listed at 6-6, 275. https://t.co/2L6Idh4m8c

Deion Sanders, Colorado Buffaloes Land OLB Nikhil Webb-Walker
Webb-Walker is 6-foot-6 and 240 pounds but can move very well. He racked up 24 tackles (5.5 for loss) and three sacks last season for the Aggies. Originally from Jamaica, he was an unrated recruit coming out of high school, which is often the case for international prospects. The talented linebacker uses his length to his advantage and can work to either side of the field. His commitment fills a massive need for the Buffaloes.
Filling In The Gaps
There were a lot of gaps on this roster going into the offseason. The program lost DJ Lundy at the linebacker position when he decided to return to Florida State. Webb-Walker gives Colorado much-needed depth in the position. Across the roster, Sanders has been busy building depth. He completely remade the offensive line and has found a nice balance of offensive and defensive players.
The challenge for Sanders will be getting all of this talent to translate to wins on the field. There are high expectations in Boulder, and Sanders will have to deliver.
