Las Vegas Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels released a brief update on the status of Davante Adams, who suffered a head injury in the team’s loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 2.
Adams played late in a game that had all but been decided with a 38-10 score Sunday. Adams took a hit to his head and was evaluated for a concussion after the game. The Raiders already had wide receiver Jakobi Meyers out against the Bills with a concussion.
Adams would be a big loss for an offense that will look to reset before their Week 3 contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football. Fortunately, it seems like Adams will be back for the game.
The Las Vegas Raiders think Davante Adams is “good”
According to Field Yates with ESPN, Adams is “good” on Monday. McDaniels said Meyers is showing signs of progress with his head injury.
Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels says WR Davante Adams is "good" after taking a huge hit yesterday.
Meanwhile, WR Jakobi Meyers is "headed in the right direction" as he progresses through the concussion protocol.

It seems like it’s possible for the Raiders to have both wide receivers back to play the Steelers. We’ll see how they’re trending on Wednesday’s injury report.
