The Las Vegas Raiders were putting on a route of the Los Angeles Chargers in the first half of their Thursday Night Football game. The battle of two 5-8 teams was heavily lopsided after three Chargers turnovers helped the Raiders take 28-0 early in the second quarter.
But many NFL fans noticed one star player wasn’t getting in on the scoring action–Davante Adams. Adams battled an illness this week but made the active roster for Thursday night. He caught two passes on the Raiders opening drive but hadn’t caught another pass through the midway point of the second quarter.
That’s not a great sign for fantasy football owners with Adams in their playoff lineup. Rookie quarterback Aidan O’Connell threw three touchdown passes, but none to his best target. With the Raiders up by so many points, the team likely won’t throw the ball as much in the second half.
That means fewer targets for Adams.
