The Dak Prescott funky commercial—literally funky—is one you must view. Prescott and his Dallas Cowboys are favored by 3.5 points in Sunday night’s game against Jalen Hurts and his Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles have a one-game lead in the NFC East over the Cowboys.
If this game lives up to its hype, it could be the best regular season game.
The Dak Prescott Funky Commercial
Proving that more vital matters exist than football, Prescott participated in a commercial that emphasized the importance of checking yourself for colorectal cancer through a home screening kit like Cologuard offers.
Probably gonna get a lot of $h!t for this. @LeadFromBehind pic.twitter.com/lcwEtDJ3PP

Having made such a humorous commercial, the veteran quarterback knows he will be the source of significant ridicule, given that he’s talking so candidly about feces—even demonstrating how a colorectal cancer home screening kit works. NFL fans are already taking shots at the Dak Prescott funky commercial. However, the purpose and message of it are too significant to permit any comments to stop him from promoting it.
The Cowboys’ star quarterback, who is expected to receive a lucrative new contract extension after the season is over, has developed metaphorical thick skin over the years as he has had to withstand robust criticism from many people nationwide.
Experiencing an MVP-worthy season, Prescott is unashamed to respond boldly to his critics—no matter who they are. He employs the fair and unfair criticism he receives as a vehicle to engage critics, fans, and every person possible in taking action to screen themselves for colorectal cancer.
Without question, the Dak Prescott funky commercial is provocative, given that it centers the expletive for feces. Finding this commercial tremendously effective and appealing, Ian Rapoport, National Insider for the NFL Network and NFL.com, reposted the commercial on X (formerly known as Twitter), asserting, “Maybe the best PSA I’ve ever seen.”

Heed the Message about Colorectal Cancer
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention explain that early detection of polyps through home screening tests can allow surgeons to remove them before they become cancerous. While the Dak Prescott funky commercial is hilarious, not screening yourself for colorectal cancer isn’t. We have lost too many people too soon to cancer.
Let’s be responsible this holiday season and do ourselves and our loved ones a favor and screen ourselves for colorectal cancer. Enjoy several laughs the Dak Prescott funky commercial provides, but after those laughs, obtain a colorectal screening kit. Encourage your family and friends to test for colorectal cancer, too.
